The vehicle fuel heater, also known as the parking heating system, is an independent auxiliary heating system on the vehicle, which can be used after the engine is turned off and can also provide auxiliary heating during driving. Generally, it is divided into water heating system and air heating system. According to the type of fuel, it can be divided into gasoline heating system and diesel heating system. Most large trucks and construction machinery use diesel gas heating system, and most domestic cars use gasoline water heating system.
The working principle of the parking heating system is to extract a small amount of fuel from the fuel tank to the combustion chamber of the parking heater. Then the fuel burns in the combustion chamber to generate heat, heat the engine coolant or air, and then dissipate the heat into the compartment through the heating radiator. At the same time, the engine is also preheated. In this process, the battery power and a certain amount of fuel will be consumed. According to the size of the heater, the amount of fuel required for heating once varies from 0.2 to 0.3 liters.
