Detailed explanation of working principle of car parking heater

The working principle of the parking heating system is to extract a small amount of fuel from the fuel tank to the combustion chamber of the parking heater, and then the fuel burns in the combustion chamber to generate heat to heat the engine coolant or air, and then radiate the heat into the compartment through the warm air radiator. At the same time, the engine is also preheated. In this process, the battery power and a certain amount of fuel will be consumed. According to the size of the heater, the amount of fuel required for heating varies from 0.2L to 0.3L.

The parking heating system is mainly composed of an intake air supply system, a fuel supply system, an ignition system, a cooling system and a control system. Its working process can be divided into five working steps: intake air stage, injection stage, mixing stage, ignition combustion stage and heat exchange stage.

After starting the switch, the heater operates as follows:

1. The centrifugal water pump starts pumping test run and checks whether the waterway is normal;

2. After the water circuit is normal, the fan motor rotates to blow air through the air inlet pipe, and the dosing oil pump pumps oil into the combustion chamber through the input pipe;

3. Ignition plug ignition;

4. After the fire is ignited at the head of the combustion chamber, it burns completely at the tail and discharges the exhaust gas through the exhaust pipe:

5. The flame sensor can sense whether the ignition is on according to the temperature of the exhaust gas. If it is on, the spark plug will be closed;

6. The water absorbs and takes away the heat through the heat exchanger and circulates to the engine water tank:

7. The water temperature sensor senses the temperature of the outlet water. If it reaches the set temperature, it will turn off or reduce the combustion level:

8. The air controller can control the intake amount of combustion air to ensure combustion efficiency;

9. The fan motor can control the air inlet speed;

10. The overheat protection sensor can detect that when there is no water or the water passage is blocked and the temperature is higher than 108 degrees, the heater will be automatically turned off.
